We are currently seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site. This role offers variety, the chance to work independently, and opportunities for overtime.

The Role

You will be responsible for keeping the production line moving by troubleshooting faults and performing scheduled maintenance.

• Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production and packaging machinery

• Preventative Maintenance: Complete planned (PPM) tasks and document work performed

• Breakdown Response: Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain high food safety standards (GMP) and follow LOTO protocols.

Hours & Pay

• Hours: Flexibility required for weekends, extended shifts, and breakdown call-outs.

• Pay: Competitive rates based on experience ($85K-$90K p.a)

What You Need

We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work and can integrate quickly into a team with minimal supervision.

• Qualifications: Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical trade qualification.

• Experience: Proven history in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment

• Technical Skills: Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities

• Safety First: A solid understanding of OH&S and compliance in regulated manufacturing sites.
